What is an Allied Health Assistant

Allied Health Assistants are trained support professionals who work alongside licensed allied health clinicians, including Occupational Therapists to implement and support therapy programs.  At Quad Care, AHAs provide physical, social, and emotional support, ensuring each client receives the assistance needed to build skills, maintain progress, and live more independently. AHAs’ roles cover a range of activities, from supporting therapy plans created by registered Occupational Therapists to help clients improve their communication abilities alongside speech therapists.
